In this age of inflation, it is impossible to cover all your expenses on a single income stream, looking for an alternate income stream? you are in the right spot.

Yes, you read that right, if you want to earn online you just need an internet connection and a mobile/ computer. Below are the top 5 platforms where you can register free of cost and start earning immediately:

1- Fiverr.com

Fiverr connects you with potential customers i.e. buyers. It is the go-to place for most businesses who want to get a project done by professionals. The skills most searched or in demand when writing this article are website design, WordPress, Logo Design, and NFTs.  It is an easy-to-setup website for freelancers, just click on the join button and you can either connect to the website with your Google account or with your social media accounts.

2- Freelancer.com

The platform hosts a huge audience of 60 million, one of the largest audiences of buyers in sellers on any freelance platform. It has more than 1800 categories from which you can either work or buy. The top skills on freelancer.com are software development, writing, and data entry. To join the platform simply click on join, you can either set up your account with your Facebook profile or with your email address.

3- Upwork.com

Number 3 on our list is upwork.com, the top jobs on Upwork are: google ads, WordPress, virtual assistant, and video editor. Unlike the previous two platforms, Upwork has a lengthy setup process, you first signup with all your details, and only if their team is satisfied with your profile they will bring you on board. My suggestion is only to opt for the platform if you have expertise in any particular skill otherwise your profile will get rejected and you would not get a chance to appeal. Maybe that's what makes their platform the most professional as they only let the best of us in their network.

4-Guru.com

Number 4 on our list is guru.com; the top skills searched on the platform are data entry, graphic design, logo design, email hacking, and WordPress. Likewise other freelance platforms, guru offers a platform where buyers and sellers meet for their desired projects and the transaction takes place. The basic purpose of these platforms is to connect buyers with sellers and vice versa, with a referee or an arbitrator to look out for the interest of both the parties if things go south. unlike Upwork they offer a relatively easier signup process.

5- People Per Hour

Last but not the least, people per hour. There are basically two models by which these websites go, either per hour charge or per project charge. Most of the websites go for the former, but the website in discussion as also shown in its name pays freelancers per hour. The main purpose of these websites as for freelancers is to give them the freedom to do the work according to their own work ours, choose their own routines, the work, and pay they like.

I hope the above information is helpful to you and adds to your knowledge about the freelance platforms, if you need any kind of help setting up your accounts or how to use to platforms feel free to reach me and I will help you to the best of my knowledge. I plan to add more platforms to this post in order for people to get access to basic information about these platforms and ultimately to use these platforms and generate money for their households.
